Get Started


How do I become a member?

It’s simple! Click [START LEARNING] and choose your preferred subscription plan. Follow the prompts; enter your details, provide a payment method and review/agree to the terms and conditions, then click [SUBSCRIBE]. Once you have joined you can start learning straight away!

NB. Your username and password will automatically be generated and emailed to your provided email address. Confirm your email address is correct to avoid delays in use.

A password must be created that is a minimum in 8 characters in length. You will be required to use your unique Username and Password each time you wish to log in and access your account.

What happens if I forget my password?

You can request a new password via the Login page. Click 'Forgot password?’. If you are still unable to gain access please email support@idda.com.au.

Where do I start learning?

Once you’re a member and logged in, click [COURSE LIBRARY]. This will take you to the Courses page where you can scroll through all the courses available and choose your preferred software and begin tutorials.

How do I download my project files?

A link is made available to you within each lesson page to download your applicable course project file.

On what technology can I access IDDA?

So long as you have an internet connection you can access IDDA.com.au from any technology device. This includes PC, laptop, tablet and/or mobile.

How do I track where I’m at?

Whether you log on / off between lessons you can mark where you’re at as you progress through your courses. The learning platform will automatically track your progress. You can check your progress from the [MY PROGRESS] link in the main menu.

If you’d like to uncheck certain courses, you’ll need to click the [] symbol, which will uncheck the lesson appearing as learnt.

How do I pay?

For Students and Professionals, you will need to provide accurate and legitimate credit card details whereby IDDA is permitted to direct debit from. You can update your Credit Card details in your [MY ACCOUNT].
NB. IDDA may terminate your account if payment is not made.

For Corporate, Corporate+ and Campus+, an administrator must register credit card details to pay for the whole group. For group members to access their subscriptions the Administrator is responsible to ensure prompt payment is received by IDDA.

How do I get student discount?

To join as a student you must register with a legitimate @edu email and/or must hold a valid student concession card. This is automatically verified by IDDA. Upon your student concession card expiring, you must upgrade to a Learner Member.

NB. Without an @edu email you will not be able to purchase a student subscription.

How do I join in Online Training Webinars?

IDDA will notify all members via announcements and email to online webinars. You will need to register and follow instructions for each event. Webinars are only available to subscribed members. Various webinars will be capped and/or may be limited by skill set.

Why are we charged a different subscription rate to what is advertised?

You may notice a slightly different amount being charged from your account depending on what country you are subscribing from. All prices are quoted in $AUD dollars. If you are outside of Australia, you may incur applicable taxes and charges for currency conversion.

Can I download files and share with others?

No. IDDA training files are only available for the subscribed User who has agreed to the Website Use Terms Policy and has made payment to maintain active membership. IDDA holds all rights reserved to the training material and any download/ sharing of content is infringement and illegal on all accounts. Any misuse will lead to immediate ban and will be reported.

Are you having issues with the IDDA website?

To get the best experience out of the IDDA.com website we recommend using the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers. Feel free to contact support@idda.com.au for any further queries.

 


Examination


How do I receive my certificates?

When you complete your course examination, you will be able to immediately review your results online for the Essentials, Designer and Advanced courses. More advanced courses may require further review from the IDDA team and results may take slightly longer to be graded. Check your results using the [Exam Results] section under the [My Progress] tab.
A certificate showing your result will be available for download under the same tab.

What happens if I fail my exam?

IDDA will give each member one opportunity to sit an examination as part of their membership. If you fail your examination you will need to pay $24.95 on each occasion to resit the exam. We take our courses and examinations seriously, and encourage you to prepare prior to commencing.

Why do I need to pay to re-sit my examinations?

By incurring a $24.95 fee for each exam re-sit, IDDA maintains credibility for industry / users who prepare for examination. This reduces the likelihood of members misusing the online examination process.

When do certificates expire?

As we continually update online training courses to remain current in the industry, all certification is valid for 1 year from the date of completion. We encourage all members to resit exams to hold a current certification.

How can I re-sit examinations?

If you would like to resit an exam, a link will be available in the [Exam Results] page found under each Course Outline. You can purchase another exam attempt by following the prompts. Your best result will be displayed on your Course Certificate. If you have any issues, you can contact support@idda.com.au.

Change of Membership


How do I upgrade my membership?

You can upgrade your membership be simply going to your [MY ACCOUNT] and choosing your choice of membership. You may be required to pay additional fees to meet the subscriptions requirements.

Can I downgrade my membership?

No. You will need to contact support@idda.com.au to administrate this request.

Can I hold my account?

No. You will be required to maintain an active account in order to have access to your online learning history, material and certification. Upon expiration of your subscription, your membership will revert to Trial mode.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. Simply go to [MY ACCOUNT] and cancel your current subscription. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing cycle.

How do I update my user details?

You can update your personal details via [My Profile].

I’ve terminated my account and want to reactivate?

Once your account has expired you are placed back into Trial mode and cannot access your progress until you purchase another subscription.

 


Support


How can I contact support?

You can log a ticket via the [Support] page or email support@idda.com.au where an IDDA team member will respond to your query within 24 hours.

How can I provide feedback?

We love feedback! You are welcome to email any feedback regarding your experience, training etc via support@idda.com.au or our Feedback page.
You also have the opportunity to provide specific course feedback before you commence each exam.

How will I receive IDDA announcements?

IDDA announcements will be shared via our online website on your dashboard, also social media, emails and/or SMS. You may opt out of emails / SMS at any time.
Content will remain live on community forums for all to access at any time.

Multiple Users and Groups


How do I add a group of users?

Under the Company subscription type you are able to add multiple users at a time using the [Upload CSV File] function. Simply download the CSV Template, edit the document to add in the users and re-upload the file.

How do I delete user(s) from my group?

To delete a user from your group, select the user from the [Manage Users] tab and select the [Delete] button.

How do I transfer from a Group User to my own Subscription?

You will need to request to your existing company owner to delete your user account from their company. This will convert you into ‘Trial Mode’ and you can subscribe to a new Individual Subscription and maintain all of your progress.

 


Software


How do I receive my software purchase?

Upon purchasing software from the IDDA website you will shortly receive the Product Key via email to enter into your program.

 


Certification


Upon exam completion, how do I receive my certification?

What name is printed on the certificate?

Printed on the certificate will be the name you enter into your User details.

What if I need to change my name?

You can change your name using the [My Profile] section.

What are Autodesk Certification Exams?

Autodesk Certification exams allow you to gain an industry-recognized credential directly from Autodesk. These exams must be taken in person at our national examination centre.
